3rd Annual GAR Live Energy Disputes - Monica Feria-Tinta announced as speaker

Monica Feria-Tinta will be joining the 3rd Annual GAR Live Energy Disputes panel to discuss "International boundary disputes and energy related natural resources".

Monica practises in public international law and international arbitration (including investment arbitration in the energy sector). Her litigation practice includes inter-state disputes before international courts and arbitral tribunals and her domestic practice in the energy sector focuses on extra-territorial claims brought before English courts. Her non-contentious practice in the energy & natural resources sector often involves areas of public international law. She has advised on matters concerning exploration of gas in one of the largest undeveloped gas reserves in South America, the Camisea Gas Project, and the rights of indigenous populations in the Amazon; acted as an expert on issues of human rights of Mayan communities and corporate responsibility with regards to hydro-electric projects in Guatemala; and advised on regulatory aspects as to a large-scale hydroelectric project on one of the longest undammed rivers remaining on mainland South East Asia, situated in Myanmar.
