Most members of 20 Essex Street Chambers both advise on and act as advocates in relation to all types of commercial disputes whether arising from contract, breach of duty, unjust enrichment or otherwise. We have particular expertise in disputes with an international dimension. These may be resolved in the English and Welsh Courts, or by institutional or ad hoc international arbitration, or by London maritime and commodity trade arbitrations. Equally, members of 20 Essex Street Chambers act in relation to regulated transactions, notably, in the financial and energy sectors. Members are experienced in representing overseas and large corporate clients and advising in complex, high value and multi-forum litigation.
