David Sutton has been involved with international arbitration for many years first as counsel and then as arbitrator. He also practised commercial litigation in the high courts of England and Hong Kong.
His professional experience extends to a wide range of transactions, principally in the general commercial, banking, pharmaceutical, oil and gas and project fields.
He has acted as arbitrator for many parties in respect of arbitration proceedings in many countries and under most of the major arbitration systems including the International Chamber of Commerce, the London Court of International Arbitration, the Stockholm Arbitration Institute, the Zurich Chamber of Commerce, the American Arbitration Association and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, as well as conducting ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
